Planning, Organizing, and Completing Tasks: Executive Functioning Skills and Students with ADHD

We will address “executive functioning” issues such as planning, organizing, and completing tasks such as homework, studying, following directions, chores, and basic life skills. These issues will be discussed from a functional perspective and target why our children experience these challenges. Most importantly, this presentation will discuss specic actions parents, teachers, and professionals can take to help empower “our children” and their families to be less impacted by issues commonly associated with ADHD. A Q&A will be encouraged, so bring a friend and your questions!
